Our Mission
At Fire Safety Stick, we believe fire protection should be simple, effective, and accessible to everyone.
The Problem We Solve
Traditional fire extinguishers have remained largely unchanged for decades—heavy, bulky, pressurised, and often requiring annual servicing. Fire Safety Stick was introduced to provide a modern alternative: a lightweight, compact, and easy-to-use fire suppression tool that helps tackle early-stage fires without the mess and servicing associated with conventional extinguishers.
Global Impact
Today, Fire Safety Stick products are used in homes, vehicles, boats, workshops, commercial fleets, agricultural machinery, motorsport environments, businesses and emergency services in more than 35 countries worldwide.
The Fire Safety Stick is a portable, non-pressurised fire suppression device designed to help control and extinguish early-stage fires, or aid escape to safety.
Unlike traditional extinguishers that rely on stored pressure, the Fire Safety Stick uses a solid compound that, when activated, produces a fire-suppressing vapour. This vapour interrupts the chemical chain reaction of combustion, helping to stop the fire quickly and effectively.
Because it contains no pressurised cylinder, the Fire Safety Stick eliminates concerns about pressure loss, leakage, or accidental discharge commonly associated with traditional extinguishers.
Remove and discard the TOP yellow cap.
Take the BOTTOM yellow striker cap from the handle.
Connect the brown, rough striking surface with the black tip, flick/strike to start activation (repeat if needed).
Point the vapours at the base of the fire and allow the vapours to engulf.
If conditions become unsafe, activate the Fire Safety Stick, leave it in the affected area if appropriate, close the door behind you, evacuate, and contact emergency services.
The Fire Safety Stick weighs as little as 215 grams and is compact enough to store in vehicles, kitchens, workshops, boats, caravans, motorhomes, toolboxes, and other confined spaces.
Effective on a wide range of fire types, including combustible materials (A), flammable liquids (B), gases (C), cooking oils and fats (F), and electrical equipment (Electrical fires up to 100,000V).
Delivers continuous fire suppression for up to 50 or 100 seconds, giving users more time to control a fire compared to many traditional extinguishers.
Provides reliable fire protection for up to 15 years without requiring replacement, making it a long-term safety investment.
Produces a clean extinguishing vapour that leaves virtually no residue behind, reducing clean-up time and preventing secondary damage. Safe for electronics.
Unlike traditional extinguishers, Fire Safety Stick requires no annual servicing, pressure checks, or costly maintenance contracts. Just a regular 20s self-check maintenance is recommended.
Generates a non-toxic vapour that is safe for people, pets, and the environment. No PFAS.
It will never accidentally have loss of pressure and discharge unexpectedly, unlike traditional extinguishers in some cases.
Can be activated and left operating in enclosed areas while occupants move to safety, helping suppress or reduce spread of the fire during evacuation.
Independently tested and certified for multiple classes of fire
Solid combustible materials such as Wood, Paper, Textiles, Plastics, etc.
Flammable liquids such as Petrol, Diesel, Solvents, Paints, etc.
Flammable gases such as Propane, Butane, etc.
Up to 100,000V. Suitable for use around white goods, appliances, charging cables, etc.
Cooking oils and fats commonly found in kitchens.
This product is NOT suitable for campfires, coal, charcoal or lithium battery fires.
The Fire Safety Stick uses potassium-based technology that traces its origins to fire suppression systems developed for sensitive electrical and aerospace environments during the Space Race in the 1960s. The active agent works by interrupting the chemical reactions that sustain combustion, suppressing the fire at its source, rather than simply cooling it. This also means that the Fire Safety Stick is safe to breathe, as it is non-toxix, has no PFAS and leaves behind no corrosive mess.
Designed exclusively for stationary use within residential properties, the Standard Range provides simple, effective fire protection for the home. Available in both 50-second and 100-second discharge models.
Designed for vehicles, machinery, and environments where movement, vibration, and demanding conditions are common. The Utility Range is ideal for users who require portable fire protection in mobile or heavy-duty applications.
Designed for professional users, commercial vehicles, workplaces, and business environments where enhanced fire safety management may be required. The PRO Range provides organisations with a practical fire suppression solution for a wide range of commercial applications.
Fire Safety Stick PRO products are intended for commercial and workplace environments. Fire safety requirements vary depending on your industry, premises, risk assessment, and local regulations.
